Invitation to the 8th Seaplane Meeting

As part of the 18th Annual Hanse Sail Rostock, from August 7th to the 10th, we cordially invite you to the 8th Annual Seaplane Event.

Since 1991, the Hanse Sail in Rostock is the maritime port celebration with annually more than one million visitors. The Hanse Sail Rostock brings over 250 tall ships and traditional sail ships, as well as museum ships. Since 2001, floatplanes and amphibious aircraft have also participated in the Hanse Sail Rostock. We would be pleased to welcome you and your seaplane to this event in Rostock.

The Hanse Sail Rostock has become a model historical maritime meeting and event. It is not only a rendezvous of sailing boats and seaplanes, but also a place for symposiums and conventions of the most diverse kind.

As part of the event, we would like to offer interested guests and visitors a seaplane guide in the form of a brochure. In order to achieve this, we need new photos of your seaplanes. In addition, we need technical data, e.g. year of construction, wingspan, length, height, take-off weight, type of engine, engine power, take-off distance, number of seats, as well as any other remarkable features.

In addition, we want to offer the crews and their company an informative, cultural and culinary program. Also, the possibility of a “Flight Rally“ should be discussed.

As participants, please consider the instructional leaflet.

In order to accomplish the organization of the event, we ask of you, to please communicate to us as soon as possible your decision to participate. For further information, the workers at the Hanse Sail office are available at anytime for your disposal.
